"Professor Cynthia" exhibits work on the regional and national level in juried, group and solo shows. Her work has been reviewed in newspapers and publications. Before coming to Oswego, she taught at Sinclair Community college in Dayton, Ohio. As a research/medical illustrator at Southern Illinois University, her illustration work was published regularly in scientific journals, publications, and textbooks. She has worked as a free-lance graphic designer/illustrator and computer prepress consultant. Her graphic design work and scenic art projects can be seen yearly at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival.

"The thing that I have always loved about working commercially is it allows me to combine my various studio interests in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and typography. I have long admired the role the poster artist plays in informing society about people, places, movements, or events. What drew me to Oswego was that the Art department had a place for illustration and support for graphic design as an applied art form. What keeps me at Oswego is the willingness of students to wear many hats and explore a range of methods and media in order to find their own inner passions. "
