Summer construction at SUNY Oswego will feature the kickoff of a $17.2 million project to connect and put a welcoming face on the School of Education’s two buildings and to renovate Park Hall, the second-oldest structure on campus.

The State University of New York bestowed its 2011-12 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence on five SUNY Oswego students who have demonstrated academic success with significant accomplishments outside the classroom.

Tyler Art Gallery will present “Paintings and Drawings from the Collection” in a south gallery exhibition from Friday, June 8, to Friday, July 27.

A native of Central New York who used a math degree from SUNY Oswego to make a fortune in the real estate business has informed the college of his intention to bequeath approximately $5 million to his alma mater in support of the Possibility Scholars program.
