    • Electronic delivery of articles and chapters from other libraries
    • Scans (pdf) of articles and chapters that Penfield owns only in print, microfilm, or microfiche.

How Does ILL Work?

If you find something in a library database but Penfield doesn't have access, you can request that item through interlibrary loan.

New Users

If you've never used ILL before, login and register first.

Placing Requests

In most library databases, just look for the links that say

  • "Request through interlibrary loan," or
  • "Borrow from another library."

The system will fill out the ILL request form for you.

Didn't find it through a library database? You can also login and enter requests manually.
