Accessing Penfield Library Resources

Borrowing (Circulation)

Emeriti Faculty can have either of the following:

  • Campus ID or
  • Library-supplied Community Borrower's card (given at no charge)

Regardless of the card you use, Emeriti Faculty are treated the same as active faculty using the Borrowing Policy for Faculty

Access to Penfield's Databases

You may continue to be able to access some of the library databases from off campus with your Laker NetID and password. Access to all databases is available on site.

Your Research

  • Databases - See the complete list of databases to which Penfield Library subscribes
    • Electronic copies (scans) of articles available in paper copy in Penfield may be requested through our Interlibrary Loan system.
  • Interlibrary Loan - Request materials from other libraries

  • Cabell's Directories of Publishing Opportunities - Use this to find journals to submit research to.
    • Includes: Accounting, economics, management, marketing, education, psychology, computer science, health administration, mathematics, biological science, and more.
  • Display to Archives - Get on-campus recognition and promote access to your scholarly/creative work.
