Pam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has practiced in the mental health field for many years.  Pam received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Oswego State and earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from Syracuse University.  In addition Pam has been clinically credentialed and NYS licensed at advanced levels.  Pam is entering her tenth year of work at the Counseling Services Center. Prior to this experience she held different clinical position at various mental health clinics and nonprofit organizations in central New York.

In her work with college students Pam embraces a developmental, narrative and strengths based approach to helping students achieve emotional intelligence.  During times of emotional turbulence Pam likes to assist her clients in developing the tools to “ride out the storm” and develop the strengths and emotional intelligence necessary for entering adulthood.  In her work with all students diversity and inclusion are the foundations of Pam’s practice and she values the cultural richness that all students bring to the Center.

In her spare time Pam enjoys house boating, motorcycle riding, antiquing and hanging out with her pup, Miss Babe.
