Jane is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has been in the mental health field for over 20 years. Her BA is in Psychology from Miami University and her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University, both in Ohio. Prior to Oswego she was employed at Lourdes University in Ohio as the Assistant Director for TRIO Student Support Services. Jane began her career at non-profit mental health agencies working with young children, adolescents, and families. She suggests college is a platform for change and opportunity for growth and self-awareness.
Jane is a life-long volunteer with her favorite experiences being with women’s organizations and LGBTQ support and advocacy. Jane is the advisor for the student mental health awareness organization, Active Minds and facilitator for Sexual Assault Support Groups at the Counseling Center.
