Minors
Biology
The biology minor provides an opportunity for students majoring in another department to gain experience in the field and may be appropriate for students in a wide range of fields. In addition to natural science majors, the minor may appeal to art majors interested in biological illustration, English majors interested in technical writing, psychology majors interested in behavior, or pre-law students interested in environmental or biotechnology issues.
Zoology
The zoology minor provides an opportunity for students majoring in another department to gain experience in the field and may be appropriate for students in a wide range of fields. Doctor of physical therapy articulation program
In our 3+3 doctor of physical therapy articulation with SUNY Upstate Medical Center, students earn a Biology BA from SUNY Oswego (three years) and DPT from SUNY Upstate (three years). NOTE: Students must apply to, and gain admission into, each program separately during their senior year of high school. Transfer students and current Oswego students are not eligible.
