Childhood Education (1-6), M.S.T.

AN M.S.T. from SUNY Oswego will prepare you for a career in  teaching.  This graduate level  program  tailored for students who have bachelor's degrees in areas other than education.  This rigorous program will prepare you with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully teach in New York State.  Receive your New York State Initial Teaching Certificate as you progress through our M.S.T. curriculum.  44-48 credit hours are required for completion.  Admissions are rolling.   It is expected that you will complete the program in 4 semesters including your student teaching experience.

Mental Health Counseling, M.S.

Small class sizes and close interaction with our esteemed faculty will prepare you to enhance your professional development in various mental health counseling capacities. Our CACREP and NCATE accredited Mental Health Counseling program is designed to prepare students with the listening, problem solving, diagnosis, treatment planning and case consultation skills needed for a successful future in the field. The program consists of 60 credits.
