About the program

SUNY Oswego offers an online and on-site hybrid program that provides the flexibility for a full-time (12 or more credit hours) or part-time (less than 12 credit hours) course schedule.

We offer many on-site classes at the Metro Center in Clinton Square at convenient times to accommodate your busy schedule.

What you’ll study

This general management degree studies the many aspects of the modern organization. Core subjects include management, accounting, marketing, organization behavior, business law and finance. Specialization in a particular field — international management, manufacturing management, organizational leadership or financial services — can lead to valuable, in-depth study in your area of interest.

Engage in teamwork and practical projects to put what you’re learning into practice -- culminating with your capstone experience. Interact with, and gain experience from, professional groups in the business community. Build your resume through internships and co-op opportunities.   • must have an associate degrees in business or approximately 60 equivalent credits in business
  • cumulative grade point average of 2.3
  • an official transcript from each college or university previously attended
  • applicants with a gap in their educational history are required to complete the Transfer Application Supplement

Transfer credits

Students may transfer up to 62 credits from a two-year college and 92 from a four-year institution, these include General Education and lower level program courses.
