SUNY Oswego's 2012 Climate Action Plan is the college's most recently published Climate Action Plan. This revised plan acknowledges our past successes, and updates our current and future goals to address societal, economical and environmental issues.
The Environmental Sustainability Team has developed a four-part Strategic Directions Roadmap to integrate environmental sustainability into the cultural fabric of SUNY Oswego. These strategic directions build on the introspective self assessment of "Where are we now?" and answer the aspirational question "Where do we want to be?"
A college steering committee worked with C&S Companies to gather information for supporting the development of parking and transportation programs. This report analyzed the wants and needs of campus affiliates and supported SUNY Oswego's Sustainability Initiative.
This was the first published draft of SUNY Oswego's Climate Action Plan after signing the American Colleges and Universities Presidents' Climate Commitment. It was expected that this document would be updated periodicly to remain true to SUNY Oswego's progress and intensions.
