Are you a transfer student starting at SUNY Oswego during the Fall 2020 Semester? Jump start your academic career by taking a Summer Sessions course at SUNY Oswego! We offer a variety of options which include online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses. Online courses are convenient and can be taken from wherever you are this summer.

Things to consider:

  1. Is there a course that's right for me? Check out Course Availability and search by term "Summer".
You may search a variety of ways including:
    • Subject
    • Attribute (For example - Gen. Ed. or Upper Division)
    • Session Dates
    • Distance Learning (online courses)
  2. Am I within commuting distance for a face-to-face course or is an online course the best option for me?
  3. How will I pay for this course? You may be able to use financial aid to pay for summer classes.
  4. If you are interested in taking an online course, you will need to be registered at least one week prior to the start of the course so that we can ensure that you can get access to it.

Financial Aid:

  1. If you use financial aid to pay for summer classes, it will reduce the amount of financial aid available to pay for the fall and spring semester.
  2. Please contact the Financial Aid Office at 315-312-2248 for eligibility to use financial aid to pay for a summer course.
  3. If you decide to use financial aid to pay for summer, you must download, complete and submit the Summer School Financial Aid Form.
