Dear Members of the SUNY Oswego Community,

On the heels of yesterday's SUNY Board of Trustees announcement in which SUNY Oswego's next President was appointed, I am excited to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Peter O. Nwosu.

Dr. Nwosu is an outstanding choice to lead our university. His extensive higher education experience, broad knowledge and perspective will serve our university community well, and his character and strategic leadership abilities will continue to propel SUNY Oswego forward.

I look forward to assisting with the leadership transition in the coming months and joining you all in welcoming Dr. Nwosu to our university community.  Until then, please join me in congratulating once again the 11th President of the State University of New York at Oswego -- Dr. Peter O. Nwosu.
