I am pleased to announce that we have received official word from SUNY that our Winter and Spring Forward 2021 Plan has been approved. The Plan has been posted on our Oswego Forward website and contains previously shared information (e.g., important dates, timelines) and details on baseline and weekly surveillance testing (see Jan. 22 email), pre-screening, precautionary quarantine (see Jan. 7 email) and students’ return to campus (see Jan. 8 email).
The Winter and Spring Forward 2021 Plan is a living, working document that provides detailed information on academic instruction and important academic calendar dates; campus services, student support and resources (health, counseling, technology, advisement, etc.); isolation and quarantine guidelines and protocols; personal protective equipment (PPE); wastewater testing; outbreak response and containment; and a helpful, new section titled “What Students Should Know: COVID-19 and Returning to Campus.”
