Earlier today, University Police responded to a call from the Oswego Police Department to assist with a report of a distressed, armed community member who was parked in their vehicle at the University's Fallbrook Recreation Center, which is located approximately 1.5 miles south of the main campus.  The scene was immediately secured with both entrances to Thompson Road blocked off.  Members of our campus community were not in imminent danger and the matter was quickly resolved thanks to the good work of our local law enforcement teams.
