The Office of the President
February 25, 2022
Dear Students, Faculty, Staff and Administration,

As some regions of our state start to relax their mask mandates, SUNY Oswego is currently monitoring the rates of infection in Oswego County and consulting with SUNY and the Oswego County Health Department to determine when we might make adjustments to our own policy.

At this time, SUNY Oswego’s mandatory mask mandate will remain in effect until further notice. We will be continuing to follow the data (e.g., current COVID transmission rate on our campus and in the surrounding community, as well as campus vaccination and booster rates) closely in the next few weeks and will update you regarding any changes to the masking policy.

We will also be sharing additional information in the coming weeks about return-to-campus testing for those individuals who have yet to receive their booster or are unvaccinated (with approved medical or religious exemptions) upon their return to campus after Spring Break.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to enjoy and experience the remainder of the spring semester.
