Field Station Focus

Wendy has worked at the Field Station since Oct 2007, well over fifteen years, giving her extensive knowledge of Rice Creek Field Station's history.

Wendy's administrative tasks include but are not limited to scheduling the station calendars, purchases for all station-related projects, assisting with hiring and training student workers, tracking data of research projects, station and equipment usage, and assisting with the logistics for events and projects.

A board member of Rice Creek's friends' group, Rice Creek Associates (RCA), since 2019, Wendy acts as Treasurer and volunteers time each month to assist with RCA's mission for station improvements and community outreach.
