Professor Wolfel is pursuing his PhD at Syracuse University's Maxwell School for Citizenship and Public Affairs, focusing on political theory and American government. His interests include contemporary political philosophy, radical political philosophy, liberalism and its critics, and the political thought of Thomas Carlyle, Jacques Ellul, and Alasdair MacIntyre.
