Friends of the PLL

The following projects have developed over time since the introduction of the PLL at SUNY Oswego. We are proud supporters of these programs and initatives.

Campus Composting Project

Established in 2015 with the support of Auxiliary Services, students help collect roughly 40 lbs of pre-consumer waste from Lakeside Dining Hall each day. They transport the material in a sleek bike with a composting bin on the back. The compost is deposited at the PLL compost bins.

Jr. Tree Stewards

A student lead initiative to help provide a great place to make friends while spreading the awareness about the proper care of trees. They work on campus as well as venture out to the community to help care for trees so that they could live long prosperous lives.
