Special Events

Parking permits are not needed when attending special events. This may include academic, sporting, theater, music, or conference events. 

Parking is available for persons with special medical needs in every parking lot. Those with a valid handicapped permit may park in any numbered lot in addition to designated Handicapped parking.

Persons with disabilities seeking accommodations to attend special events should call 315-312-3056 in advance.

Hockey Games 

Parking for ice hockey games will be available in parking lots marked with yellow sandwich board signs indicating "Event Parking.” Parking permits will not be required for visitors attending the games. 

Lots available for community guests will be:

  • Lot 6
  • Lot 8
  • Lot 15
  • Lot 18
  • Lot 30
  • Lot 32
 

Resident student lots are reserved for on-campus students. Patrons should not park in these areas unless their vehicle has a resident student permit valid for the current academic year. These lots will be signed as Reserved for Resident Student Parking Only. 

Parking in fire lanes, loading docks, campus roadways, parking-prohibited city and county streets or handicapped areas without a legal permit is prohibited. Parking is available for persons with special medical needs in every parking lot. Those with a valid handicapped permit may park in any numbered lot in addition to designated Handicapped parking. Persons with disabilities seeking accommodations to attend campus events should call 315-312-3056 in advance.

Commencement

Commencement is an exciting time for families, friends, and campus personnel to celebrate this milestone moment for the graduating class and take pride in our graduates’ accomplishments. 

Parking permits are not needed for this event. For information about parking on campus during Commencement, please visit our Guest Information page.

Conferences

To request a conference permit, please email the Parking Office with the following information:

  • Department making the request
  • Number of permits requested
  • Date(s) permits are needed
  • Preferred parking area
  • Visitor's name and vehicle license plate number, if available
  • Whether permits will be mailed to the department or picked up in the office.
