Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a team of professional counselors who can assist you with all aspects of small business ownership. We have the knowledge and experience to provide excellent counseling and training.


The SBDC is a major public-private partnership between the government and higher education and is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration and extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis.

Small Business Training Classes

Take a class designed to guide you step-by-step through the process of starting and managing a small business. Graduates of the program are eligible to apply for up to $25,000 in low-interest financing to expand or start their business in Oswego County.

Application forms

Tuition for the program is $200 and includes all materials. Scholarships are available for households within low to moderate income guidelines as established by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
