SUNY Oswego wins excellence award from Diversity Abroad

SUNY Oswego earning an Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion in International Education (EDIIE) award from Diversity Abroad reflects a campus-wide culture and efforts to support student opportunity, said Joshua McKeown, the college’s associate provost for international education and programs.

Seniors majoring in business administration, Shaleena and Zina Campbell aim high for a career in entrepreneurship. They've had a strong start, with small businesses in high school and now a prom dress collective that earned them a top honor from organizers of Harlem Fashion Week.

Online services outage scheduled for Feb. 23 cancelled

The outage scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23, from 12:01 to 6 a.m. to enhance Internet services at our hosting provider’s data center has been cancelled. This outage was to affect access to Blackboard, Degreeworks and Ensemble Video. These services should now continue to operate normally.

This year (throughout the spring and fall 2019 semesters), Assistant Professor of Communication Studies Francisco Suárez will lead the production of SUNY Oswego's very first holiday TV special -- an ambitious interdisciplinary collaboration involving students, faculty from the School of Communication, Media and the Arts, and staff from all across our campus. 

Award-winning retired officer to recount responding to mass shooting

Award-winning Lt. Brian Murphy, who responded to a 2012 mass shooting, will relay his experiences in “What You Do Every Day: A Conversation on Safety and Preparedness” on March 11 at SUNY Oswego.

Student honors play 'The Good Doctor' to portray absurdity, surprises in life

Combine classic tales by famed Russian writer Anton Chekhov with the wit and whimsy of Neil Simon, the author of many Broadway hits, and the result is "The Good Doctor," a series of 10 vignettes in one play, to take the stage in March as SUNY Oswego's annual student honors production.
