Student, faculty, staff signups for alternative winter break available

Applications are now open for six different alternative winter break experiences in January 2019, as one local, one international and four domestic trips will focus on combating poverty, serving meals, teaching English, testing clean water, building homes and various issues of Oswego County.

SUNY Oswego counseling and psychological services professor Jodi Mullen has instilled what she has learned from research, working as a play therapist, and from children themselves in a new book, “Raising Freakishly Well Behaved Kids: 20 Principles for Becoming the Parent Your Child Needs.”

Registration open for KidsTech programs

Every Wednesday from Sept. 26 and Oct. 17, STEM 4 Kids invites children in first through third grades to engage in exciting hands-on activities focused on the relationships among the different components of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
