Honor Roll of appreciation, special video posted

SUNY Oswego recognized the 6,989 alumni, faculty, emeriti, staff, parents and friends of SUNY Oswego, who made gifts to The Fund for Oswego from July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011, and raised nearly $3 million in the Honor Roll of Appreciation posted on National Philanthropy Day, Nov. 15.

These donors to The Fund for Oswego, who are making an immediate and positive impact on the lives of students, are recognized in the 2010-11 Honor Roll of Appreciation, which now appears online.

“We are thankful for your support—and our students are grateful for your help—more than words can say,” said President Deborah F. Stanley. “Your philanthropy has a profound daily impact on the lives of our students and faculty.”

For the first time, the honor roll includes a student-produced video supplement. Junior broadcast major Tyler Edic created the presentation to highlight some of the many benefits provided by The Fund for Oswego.

A significant factor in the move to an online honor roll was to protect donors’ privacy. A Google search of any individual’s name will not link to the donor listing.
