Campus toy drive supports local families

making tagsMembers of the campus community will help brighten the holidays for hundreds of local children in need through the 18th annual SUNY Oswego Toy Drive.

Trees and wreaths in several campus buildings offered paper ornaments with a local child’s name, gender and age. Participants selected a present appropriate to that child and returned the ornament attached to unwrapped gift. The paper ornaments adorned holiday displays in Culkin Hall, Hewitt Union, Laker Hall, Mahar Hall, the Parking Office, Penfield Library and Rich Hall.

The first pickup of gifts took place on Wednesday, Dec. 14, with a final pickup on Dec. 20.
