Institute to host leadership training for managers

SUNY Oswego’s Institute for Professional and Organizational Development will offer a course on “Leadership Skills from Managers” from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on consecutive Mondays, June 2 and 9.

This two-day course is $319 per person and offered at the Oswego State Education Center in Phoenix.

The leadership class is part of the institute’s University American Management Association professional courses and certificate programs designed to build or enhance professional knowledge, skills and leadership.

“People constitute the real competitive advantage in business and industries of all types,” said Donna Besaw, assistant director of continuing education at SUNY Oswego. “Enhancing the performance of your people and ultimately your organization depends on the continuous improvement of staff at all levels.”
