Oswego honors MLK's spirit

award winnersThe 18th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at SUNY Oswego on Jan. 25 recognized the legacy of the civil rights leader and the contributions of members of the campus community.

The college’s Sigma Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha presented its Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Awards to R. Deborah Davis, assistant professor of curriculum and instruction; Grace Mukupa, assistant residence hall director of Mackin Hall and a graduate student; and Gurdeep Skolnik, assistant director of continuing education.
