A message from President Deborah F. Stanley:

We watched with sadness while Hurricane Sandy devastated the East Coast last week. Our thoughts have been with the countless people in harm’s way, and of course our own Oswego alumni,  as they endured the storm’s impact, and — in the days that followed — as they faced the tremendous task of clean up and rescue.

If you are in the areas affected, please know that your Oswego family cares and sends you thoughts of encouragement and strength. Our hearts go out to the millions who face the challenge of rebuilding their homes and communities. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost loved ones in the storm. Even if you were not in the immediate path of the storm, we know you may have family and friends touched by this superstorm, or perhaps you have fond memories of the places harmed by the winds and rain of Sandy. Our thoughts are with you all.

We invite you to comment using Facebook below or by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to the Oswego Alumni Association. Please let us know if you are safe, if you know of other alumni and friends still suffering the effects of the storm, and share your experiences.

Once we faced the buffeting winds of Lake Ontario together. Now the Oswego family holds you in our hearts and wishes you peace and a quick recovery from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.
