Dawn Holynski, one of the leaders of the organizing team, said the campus raised $1,220 for the American Heart Association through $5 donations, carnation sales and raffles of such health-related items as a heart monitor. Brewerton Pharmacy, Village Pharmacy and Ontario Orchards were among community supporters, while the college’s Mary Walker Health Center conducted blood pressure screening.
