Empire Scholars honored

Ten SUNY Oswego students received Empire State Diversity Honors Scholarships this year.

Empire Scholars gathering.The State University of New York scholarship is direct aid to attract and retain undergraduate students from a broad range of backgrounds who have demonstrated high academic achievement and show that they will contribute to the diversity of the student body. Eight gathered recently to receive congratulations from the college’s executive assistant to the president, Howard Gordon (left), including Jenna Burgess, Jing Li-Kole, Adam King, Courtney Kelleigh, Adrian Ramirez, Tiffany Meli Chiu, Ashia Robinson and Shonda Cruz. Other recipients were Andrea Pauline Griffin-Bordis and Fred Mills.
