Miss-a-Meal program supports kids' recreation programs

check donationThe spring Miss-a-Meal fundraiser at SUNY Oswego, coordinated by the college’s Student Association and Auxiliary Services, raised thousands of dollars to support a number of community causes.

Students support the fundraiser by skipping a meal in a campus dining hall and donating that money to chosen charities. The Oswego YMCA received $1,183, while Oswego Youth Soccer and the Oswego Little League received $500 each. Donations were to be used to provide scholarships so underprivileged children could participate in these programs.
