Student-athletes clean up for community

leaf removalMore than 130 SUNY Oswego student-athletes recently raked leaves for senior citizens as part of a statewide day of community service.

The service initiative saw each Student-Athlete Advisory Council at SUNY Athletic Conference member institutions coordinate leaf-raking activities on Sunday, Nov. 5.

SUNYAC partnered with Lowe’s to sponsor some of the needed equipment, Raby’s Ace Home Center offered additional support and the Oswego Bagelry and Sandwich Shop donated breakfast for participating Laker student-athletes.
