Reunion features help for worthy causes

The Oswego Alumni Association’s Sesquicentennial Reunion Celebration June 10 to 12 included two events that helped raise more than $3,500 for worthy causes.

Representatives celebrate fundraising success.The association’s inaugural 5K Race for Possibility and Hope provided more than $650 to SUNY Oswego’s Possibility Scholars program and to Friends of Oswego County Hospice. And, pictured, a first-ever reunion weekend concert helped Delta Kappa Kappa fraternity’s alumni association raise $1,500 each for the Possibility Scholars and for United Way.

The riverfront performance celebrating the fraternity’s 85th anniversary featured Jumbo Shrimp and Frostbit Blue.
