Message from President Stanley following Northern Illinois shooting

I’m sure you have heard about yesterday’s shooting at Northern Illinois University, a public comprehensive teaching and research institution in DeKalb with a student enrollment of more than 25,000. Our hearts go out to the families and friends of those who suffered this needless violence and to all on the NIU campus who will be struggling in coming days to come to terms with this terrible assault on their community.
