Richard Skolnik

Dean of the School of Business



Richard Skolnik received undergraduate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MS in Operations Research and Statistics and a Ph.D. in Managerial Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dr. Skolnik is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with research and teaching interests in Corporate Finance and Investments. He has published in the Journal of Business Strategies, Corporate Reputation Review and the Academy of Educational Leadership. He has served as department chair of the Accounting, Finance and Law department and MBA Program Director. Successful initiatives while he has been dean include the creation of an undergraduate program in Risk Management and Insurance, an online MBA and a MBA in Health Service Administration. He volunteers for AACSB as a Maintenance of Accreditation peer reviewer.
