Books and photos selected by members of SUNY Oswego's African American Males' Empowering Network (AAMEN) are now on display on the first floor of Penfield Library. AAMEN supports African American Males at Oz by acknowledging and accepting their shared experiences and realities; allowing the opportunity to meet and achieve academic and personal goals; encouraging group cohesion and self-esteem; and serving as an extension of the family of origin. (This group description is a modified version of the AAMEN Laker Life profile).

Drop by the display, view the photos, and check out one of the AAMEN selections!
