The Faculty

The number of full time teaching faculty totaled 341 during the Fall of 2014. The number of part time teaching faculty totaled 229 during the Fall of 2014.

Eighty-eight percent of the full-time teaching faculty hold doctorate degrees or a highest terminal degree, and twelve percent have master’s degrees.

Sixty-nine percent of eligible faculty members are tenured.

Twenty-nine percent of full time faculty with tenure, or currently on tenure track, hold the rank of professor; thirty-four percent hold the rank of associate professor and thirty-seven percent hold the rank of assistant pro­fessor.
