We have recently been notified that the Governor’s Office, in conjunction with the SUNY Board of Trustees, has agreed to increase the minimum wage for Student Assistant Employees to $10.40 per hour, effective December 28, 2017.

All Student Assistant employees currently paid below $10.40 will receive an automatic wage increase to the new minimum. New Student Assistant Appointment forms will not need to be submitted for these student employees. Any departments wishing to change the hourly rates of their Student Assistant employees who are currently above the new minimum will be required to submit new Student Assistant Appointment forms as soon as possible.
