Baccalaureate of science (BS) degree in wellness management

A four-year degree that prepares students for entry-level jobs in worksite wellness, health agencies, health promotion, personal training, and fitness. This degree has the flexibility to allow students to take all of the necessary pre-requisites to attend graduate school in the following allied health professions: physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician's assistant, nursing, nutrition/dietetics and public health. Students graduate with the following transferable skills: performing health needs assessments, health programming planning, health program implementation and health program evaluation. The use of technology and social media spiral throughout the program and there is strong focus on issues of social justice and health disparitites.
