What you will study

The School Psychology program trains graduates to understand and enhance the social, emotional, and academic functioning of children and adolescents and to improve systems in which they grow, learn, and communicate. Students will benefit from small class sizes and close interaction between students and faculty.

Learning outcomes

SUNY Oswego’s School Psychology program offers students the option to earn a master of science or post-master’s advanced certificate. Upon graduation, students are eligible for provisional certification as a School Psychology in New York State. Permanent certification may be awarded by the New York State Education Department upon successful completion of 2 years successful experience.
