This program will teach you to effectively explore the critical issues in education today and prepare you to direct school improvement toward higher levels of student learning and achievement. SUNY Oswego’s Educational Leadership program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead instructional teams and develop strong networks.
You will learn the educational theory skills, financial skills and leadership qualities to pursue a career as a building principal, staff development specialist, curriculum director, special education director, technology coordinator, athletic director and assistant superintendent, among others. As a graduate of this program, you are eligible for School Building Leader and School District Level New York State certification.
