The graduate catalog contains all of the up-to-date information about program requirements, academic policies and regulations and procedures for processes such as course withdrawal, grade changes, off-campus transfer credit and more.

Candidacy

It is the responsibility of the student to file for degree candidacy when 12 to 18 hours of graduate study have been completed. Hours over 18 are subject to forfeiture. The graduate director will conduct a review of the candidate’s academic performance. Evidence of graduate level ability and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better is required to qualify for the awarding of degree candidacy status.

Writing Center

Graduate students have free access to the Writing Center, and can attend Write Ways Series workshops. Students can also access STAR-NY for online assistance through the link is on the Writing Center's homepage.
