SOC is a national non-profit organization dedicated to campus safety.  This organization was founded by the parents of a murdered college student.

Society for Women's Health Research
This organization fights for greater research funding both for what are often known as "women’s diseases," such as breast cancer, osteoporosis, and reproductive cancers, and for diseases traditionally associated with men, such as heart disease and lung cancer.

Violence Against Women Office
As part of the United States Justice Department, VAWO was created in 1995 to implement the 1994 Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and to lead the national effort to stop domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
