The purpose of the Diet Analysis program is to provide the members a chance to analyze their diet. Proper nutrition along with exercise are vital to healthy living. Eating healthy at college can be quite challenging with the unlimited food selection and unusual time constraints. That is why it is important to understand what and how much you are actually eating.
The Diet Analysis program will provide you with a breakdown of your caloric intake, macronutrients (carbs, protein and fat) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). From this breakdown, we interpret the information and make some general diet recommendations based on USDA recommendations.
You can sign-up at either Fitness Center by inquiring at the front desk or by filling in the online form below. Once your name is taken you will be contacted by one of our diet analysis coordinators to set-up a 20 minute meeting. At this meeting, we talk about your current eating habits and instruct you on how to record a 3-day food diary.
After you have recorded your 3-day diet, we analyze it using our Food Processor computer program and report the results back to you. For more information or questions, please contact the personal training office at 312-6001 or e-mail us at email@example.com.
