Welcome to SUNY Oswego's International Language & Education Center (ILEC).   Housed in the Division of Extended Learning, ILEC offers several programs that help speakers of other languages to increase their English proficiency. SUNY Oswego's 3 and 6-week SEIP programs have a history of success and will help you develop the skills, fluency, and confidence you need to communicate effectively in English.

English for Academic Purposes & US Culture

The English for Academic Purposes program is for undergraduate and graduate students as well as exchange students hoping to improve and develop their academic English skills. Each three-credit course counts as an Arts and Science elective towards graduation in most undergraduate majors.

U.S. Culture for International Students is a one-credit course designed to help ease the transition to a new academic and social environment.
