Denise DiRienzo has worked in the events and non-profit world for the past 24 years, most recently as the Executive Director of the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse. She led lunchbox talks at United Way; worked her way through the ranks at Oneida Indian Nation, planning cultural tourism and events; was a leading fundraiser in cause-related marketing as the CNY Executive Director at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; and raised over 22 million during her tenure and two capital projects at the Theatre.
Ms. DiRienzo earned an M.S. degree from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. As an adjunct professor at SUNY Oswego, Syracuse University and SUNY Morrisville, she taught classes in the Business of Show Business; Public Relations and Professionalism in the Hospitality and Gaming Industry; Managing Entertainment Venues; Tourism Planning and Development; Meetings and Convention Services; and Business Marketing, among others.
