Juliet Giglio

After selling seventeen screenplays in Los Angeles, Juliet decided she was allergic to sunshine and moved to upstate NY to teach screenwriting at SUNY Oswego. Film credits include: Disney's TARZAN, ABC's NOAH, ABC Family's PIZZA MY HEART, Disney Channel's RETURN TO HALLOWEENTOWN and the upcoming Christmas movie, A VERY NUTTY CHRISTMAS.

CRW 201 SCREENWRITING: INTRODUCTORY-This introductory course explores the screenwriting genre as it applies to a visual medium.  Students will engage in writing exercises to learn the elements of story, character development, structure, scene study and dialogue.  Students will also analyze professional screenplays, learn to pitch and write their own short film script. No prerequisite.

CRW 301 SCREENWRITING: INTERMEDIATE-Students will learn how to craft a feature-length screenplay.  Assignments will include analyzing professional scripts, breaking the story for a full-length original script, and writing to the mid-point of a feature screenplay.
