Multicultural organizations

African Student Organization (ASO) - To educate and communicate the ideas and cultures of the African culture to the SUNY Oswego campus.

Argentine Tango Club - The purpose of the Tango Club is to provide students with a worldly experience learning a dance that is not well known in the United States. The Tango Club is a way for students to learn the traditional Argentine dance in a stress-free environment.

Asian Student Association (ASA) - We strive to educate and broaden the minds of the Oswego community on the unique traditions of the Asian culture!

Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) - The Association of Black Psychologists sees its mission and destiny as the liberation of the African Mind, empowerment of the African Character, and enlivenment and illumination of the African Spirit.

Black Student Union (BSU) - To promote and educate the student body and staff about African American cultures and attributes. We also incorporate various diverse activities for our campus.

Caribbean Student Association (CSA) - Our goals are to educate ourselves and others on various cultures and issues of the Caribbean. In addition, we aim to provide an avenue for Caribbean students to express themselves.

Cultural Greek Sub-Council (CGC) - The Cultural Greek Sub-council shall meet biweekly to discuss conflicts among our community, opportunity of collaboration, and how to create and academic focus on campus as cultural Greeks.

International Student Association (ISA) - The International Student Association's primary objective is to provide educational, social and cultural support to International students as well as to American students, to unite and bring together the culture of various nations.

Italian American Heritage Club (IAH) - For students who are looking to connect to their Italian roots, and become a big family. Not just for Italians, the club aims to bring people together to learn and indulge in the Italian culture, through traditional food, games, and activities.

Korean Oswego Student Association (KOSA) - The Korean Oswego Student Association accomplishes to heighten the pride of Korea, support Korean students, develop their rights and share the information about Korea in college at Oswego.

Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity Inc (LSU) - To be role models to the community at large while pursuing academic excellence. Being culturally aware and diverse and to promote brotherhood. 

Latino Student Union (LSU) - To increase awareness and expand the knowledge of the Latino culture to students by arranging a series of weekly programming, events, activities and community service with a focus of engaging members on both an educational and interactive level.

Nihon Go! Japanese Language and Culture Club (Nihon Go!) - Nihon Go is a place SUNY Oswego students can learn and share knowledge of Japanese language and culture. We are friendly, welcoming and full of activities! Feel free to stop by our Facebook page to see all of our activities.

Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity Inc. (FIA) - To promote Pan-Americanism and unite Latino and Non-Latino peoples. Membership is a life-long commitment to the Latin American culture. It involves intellectual development, cultural consciousness, personal growth, and social awareness.

Pride Alliance (Pride) - To provide emotional, educational, social and cultural support for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, inter-sexed, pan-sexual, asexual, queer, questioning, and ally students of the college and surrounding community.  Additional website

Spanish Language Club - The purpose of this organization is to develop a Spanish academic club in which students have the opportunity to express themselves in Spanish through the use of stories, songs, books and many other forms of art.

Study Abroad Student Association (SASA) - To bring cultural and global awareness to the campus and to generate interest in study abroad programs. (Check us out on Facebook)

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) - The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is the largest and first civil rights organization. Its goal is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights and there is no racial hatred.

Turkish Culture Club (TCC) - To provide a transnational community for Turkish scholars and students and to promote Turkish cultural understanding here at SUNY Oswego.
