Staff profile

Ward formerly worked in the  Oswego City School District as a Computer Aide supporting PCs, Macs, tablets, Smartboards and Chromebooks for the school district's users. He also has worked on image building, testing, and deployment.  He is a SUNY graduate earning his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. 

Ward supports the campus in a wide variety of information security-related capacities. His ongoing responsibilities include security awareness initiatives, regulatory compliance issues (HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, etc.), incident response planning, vulnerability assessments, and information security policy development. He also consults with other technical support professionals as needed, regarding information security.
