Nicole Decker

Associate Director, Client Support & Communication


Background

Nicole began her career at SUNY Oswego in 1996 as an Academic Systems Programmer and later as Network Administrator. She graduated from SUNY Oswego in 1994 with a BS in Applied Mathematics & a BA in Computer Science. Nicole has taught CSC 101 on campus.

As Assistant Director, Nicole provides the leadership, management and supervision of the user support services of Campus Technology Services (CTS). The User Support team provides services in the areas of technology support and customer service, communication relations, training, online learning, digital media and design and provides assistance with desktop imaging as well as assistance with web-related activities including programming, maintenance and configuration of the campus web server and maintenance of the content management system used for updating pages on the SUNY Oswego website. Nicole also serves as a project manager for implementing internal and enterprise-wide projects and is the department liason for the Web Communication Office. She also serves as a consultant to faculty and staff on the implementation of technology.
