From 7:30AM – 9:30AM, the following services will be unavailable:

The 2014-15 Technology Initiative Project (TIP) grant awards were ratified at the Friday, December 12 Campus Technology Advisory board meeting. Ten requests of sixteen received were selected for some level of funding. A total of $75,000 is available to be awarded and the selection committee received fifteen requests totaling $173,000.

Campus Technology Services will be performing several minor updates to the campus network starting on 12/15 and continue through 12/23. Each update will take place in the early morning and should conclude by 8 am to ensure the restoration of internet services before normal business hours.

If you have not heard, SUNY Oswego currently has a lecture capture system in place across campus, and the number of classrooms that have it available in are expanding each semester.

September 24, 2014

SUNY Oswego will be migrating from the ANGEL Learning Management System (LMS) to Blackboard Learn.  Both systems can be used to teach fully online courses and to enhance hybrid and face-to-face classes.  The campus will be completely migrated to Blackboard Learn by the Fall 2015 semester.

Campus Technology Services will be upgrading core network equipment in Culkin Hall this Sunday, January 12 from 6:00am to 10:00am. These upgrades will allow the necessary expansion and flexibility for future infrastructure planning.

CTS has made it easier for guests of the College to use the WiFi network while visiting campus.

November 14, 2013

The interface change that was applied to myOswego yesterday, Wednesday, 11/13 did not totally resolve the registration problems we have been experiencing under heavy load.

CTS has been working with Ellucian, the company that makes the myOswego product. We have a high priority support case opened and will continue collaborating with them until the issue is totally resolved.
